Does Galveston, Texas actually have the dirtiest beaches in Texas?

A comment from Charles Barkley from the weekend is going viral. So we had to investigate.

They should be forced to go to a horrible beach like Galveston, Texas. Poor, Galveston is getting roasted out of nowhere during TNT playoff coverage.

It looks like Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, found out that Charles was talking nonsense about her hometown. Charles apologized, but immediately reiterated that the water was still dirty, and then of course, out of nowhere, San Antonio suffered a fire. The never-ending battle between the women of San Antonio and Charles Barkley that will ALWAYS make Shaq lose. But are the beaches in Galveston that dirty? I did the research!

Sorry Galveston, Texas, but the numbers don't lie. According to science, you have one of the worst beaches in Texas.

It looks like the people of Galveston could take a joke, and I imagine the city would be happy to host Charles for a nice weekend getaway. Just don't expect him to get into that water.
