Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Senior Spring Extravaganza

ONTARIO, OH (NOW CRAWFORD COUNTY) – The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. will host a Senior Spring Extravaganza on May 16th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Richland County Fairgrounds in Mansfield. This free event, held in celebration of Older Americans Month, offers guests a variety of activities and resources.

This year's event is particularly significant as it not only celebrates Older Americans Month, but also commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging. In honor of this milestone, the 1970s is the theme of this year's event.

The Administration for Community Living (ACL)-designated Older Americans Month 2024 theme is “Powered by Connection!” Celebrating older adults and the agency's 50th anniversary, the event features an on-site classic car show, entertainment by fusion Marketing Group, Brunch, a Resource Fair, BINGO and much more.

To attend the auto show, interested parties are asked to register by calling 567-247-6487. Registration is not required to take part in the event, but early arrival is not recommended. The doors open at 9 a.m.
