Caitlin Clark has fun with Indiana Fever teammates at a photo shoot

Caitlin Clark is already making friends in Indiana.

The No. 1 overall WNBA draft pick and her Fever teammates had a late-night photo shoot on Wednesday, and during the event, two of Clark's teammates loaned her a few necklaces to wear in an…ice-breaking moment.

Clark smiled as she put on both the #1 and #17 chains and even playfully chewed on Smith's jewelry.

Clark and her teammates were smiling and laughing at the moment and she even apologized for the bite.

Smith reposted the video to her Instagram Story and added four crying, laughing emojis.

Wheeler did the same in her story and also included a selfie she took with Clark as well as a group photo of some members of the Indiana squad posing in the middle of the street in Indianapolis.

After having some good times off the field, Clark and Indiana are hoping to have better times on the field this season.

The Fever finished 13-27 this year but brought in Clark, a Division I women's and men's basketball player who was the all-time leading scorer after a productive career at Iowa.

Their presence in the league has increased interest, and ticket sales have already seen a boom, with Stubhub announcing Wednesday that the company had seen a 93 percent increase in ticket sales for the WNBA compared to this time last year.

The company said Fever sales increased 13-fold after Clark was selected in the WNBA draft.

Clark said earlier this week that she was ready to hit the ground running, which begins preseason action Friday against the Wings and begins in earnest on May 14 when the Fever face the Sun in the opening game of the regular season.

“I think no matter what happens, there will be expectations and pressure on my shoulders and the pressure on this team to be really good. That’s what you want,” Clark said Monday, according to the Associated Press. “We wouldn’t want anything else. We want people to come to our games. People expect us to win a lot of basketball games this year and I expect myself to play really well. I don’t think there was ever anything else for me.”
