She had her dark locks styled in two braids and accessorized with sunglasses.

Orlando, 47, also kept it casual, wearing a black hat, matching T-shirt and dark denim pants.

The actor also had the family dog on a leash so both he and Katy could hold a cup of coffee.

The new appearance comes while Katy was busy judging American Idol, which most recently featured its top eight contestants from season 22.

On Monday night, viewers saw Kaibrienne “KB” Richins sent home at the end of the episode.

This season will be Katy's last, as the singer confirmed she will be exiting the reality show after seven seasons as a judge.

She shockingly announced the news on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February, after announcing she would be performing at a music festival in Brazil in September.

After Monday's re-airing, an insider told US Sun exclusively how Katy behaved during commercial breaks.

Katy Perry teases she's only leaving 'American Idol' 'for now' and a replacement host would 'keep her spot warm'

The source said the judge was glued to her phone the entire time instead of engaging with the audience.

“It was disgusting to see how engrossed she was in her phone and ignoring the fans shouting her name,” they explained.

“The fans were chanting, ‘Katy! Katy!'” and, “We love you, Katy!” and if anything, she quickly turned to look at her, but then went back to texting.

“She behaved very coldly towards the audience and did not want to sign autographs or take photos with them.”

Since the singer announced her decision to leave the reality show earlier this year, fans have been speculating about which star could take her place.

“There are a few people at the top of that short list who could be great,” Ryan explained.

“But we should make this decision soon, I hope.”

Ryan said Katy brought “an amazing generosity, love and a big heart” to the show.

“We hope everyone who comes in has the same impact,” he added.

Speaking on “Good Morning America” moments before, Katy said she was only leaving the show “for now.”

She went on to say that American Idol “healed her heart” and gushed about her fellow judges.

After the singer was asked her opinion on who the next judge should be, she joked that it had to be someone who could “put up with Luke and Lionel.”

She added that her successor would “keep her seat warm.”
