After selling nearly 2,000 sandwiches and donating $1,953 to local nonprofit York Street Project in March, The Hoboken Girl The breakfast sandwich is now a PERMANENT addition to Alessio's menu. The sandwich is available at both Alessio locations (539 Park Avenue, Hoboken + 99 Franklin Street, Jersey City), and we will donate our portion of sales to a different nonprofit each quarter.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County | Hoboken + Jersey City

The Boys + Girls Clubs of Hudson County was founded in 1893 to provide a positive place for Jersey City's youth. In the 129 years since its founding, the club has expanded its reach exponentially, offering a mix of nationally developed programs and activities. The clubs serve more than 2,000 youth ages five to 21 annually in clubhouses in JC and Hoboken. The aim is to give all young people the opportunity to achieve their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens of the community. The Hoboken Animal Shelter | Hoboken

The Hoboken Shelter hosts 50 guests each night and serves more than 1,000 meals throughout the week. As a full-service community partner, the Hoboken Shelter is a necessary resource in the neighborhood. The shelter always relies on donations and support to keep its doors open and welcome its guests. Hudson County Family Promise | Jersey City

Family Promise combats homelessness by leveraging the resources of volunteer communities in Hoboken and Jersey City by providing space in their buildings to serve as temporary housing for homeless families. Each Family Promise affiliate also has a day center where families can shower, receive case management and seek housing and employment. Family Promise relies on volunteers to donate their time, prepare meals, share hospitality, spend the night, play with children, and provide their passion and expertise to help families get back on their feet.
