PHOTOS: Scenes from the quarterfinals of the North Dakota Class B baseball and softball championship – InForum

JAMESTOWN, N.D. — Central Cass earned a 13-2 win over Renville County in the opening round of the North Dakota Class B softball tournament on Thursday at Lyle “Trapper” Lawrence Field.

The Squirrels will play Beulah in the state championship semifinals on Friday at 4 p.m. Beulah is coming off a 2-1 win over Thompson in the opening round.

Velva-Drake-Anamoose won 2-1 against league leaders May-Port-CG and advanced to the semifinals of the state championship.

Kindred-Richland will play against Des Lacs-Burlington in the final quarterfinal.

In the quarterfinals of Class B baseball, top-seeded Thompson earned a 14-0 win over Surrey at Jack Brown Stadium.

Thompson will play New Rockford-Sheyenne in the state semifinals on Friday at 4:30 p.m. New Rockford-Sheyenne defeated Des Lacs-Burlington 3-2 in the quarterfinals.

Central Cass plays Washburn-Wilton-Center-Stanton and Grafton plays Bottineau in the remaining baseball quarterfinals.
