PHOTOS: Scenes from the quarterfinals of the Class A baseball state championships in North Dakota – InForum

DICKINSON, N.D. — Four players scored two hits each to help Fargo Shanley beat Williston 6-4 in the first round of the North Dakota Class A baseball tournament at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Ballpark on Thursday.

Sam Ovsak, Jordan Leininger, Quinn Miller And Floor Meier all have two goals for the Deacons, the number one team in the East Region.

Fargo Davies prevailed against Minot in the second quarter final, winning 6-5 in 13 innings. Davies junior Ashton Rinas had an RBI single with one out in the 13th inning that led the Eagles to the win. Davies Senior Andre Werk had three hits and two RBIs.

Shanley will play Davies in the state championship semifinals on Friday at 5:30 p.m. (CST).

The West Region's top seed, Bismarck Legacy, earned an 11-1 win over West Fargo Horace in the quarterfinals.

Fargo North vs. Mandan is the final game of the opening round.
