Advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in New Hampshire

New Hampshire lawmakers have passed numerous bills targeting LGBTQ+ people, particularly transgender youth. These bills are now on their way to the governor's desk. This is your opportunity to avoid anything escalating.

Contact Governor Sununu today and explain to him that these are legislative projects.

  • HB 1205 would prohibit transgender children three years old and older from playing on female sports teams before graduating from high school and may require each child to pass an invasive physical exam to play.
  • HB 1312 is a confusing and necessary piece of legislation that would consolidate all gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression materials with verifiable materials and provide educators with two weeks' notice before using those materials in the classroom.
  • HB 1660 restricts access to medical care for transgender young people, limits the ability of fathers to care for their child, and prohibits them from offering, in an alarming move, a diversion to physicians for care in cases where they know it is necessary and beneficial for their patient. .

I ask Governor Sununu, who was raised in New Hampshire, to support the comprehensive protections against discrimination against transgender people in 2018. His duty is to defend New Hampshire's values and protect all residents of the Granite State, including LGB and transgender young people.

Use our application form in the Gobernador's Introduction to see HB 1205, HB 1312 and HB 1660 in your desk as soon as possible.

We told Governor Sununu that these bills being pushed by tyrants and governors are not what the village of New Hampshire wants. Telling people they are wrong and unjust is what “living free” means to all of us, including young LGBTQ+ people.
