PHOTOS: Championship scenes from the North Dakota State Girls Soccer Tournament

MINOT, ND — Fargo Davies Senior Madison Barnick scored two goals to secure a historic victory at Duane Carlson Stadium on Saturday.

Barnick's goals helped the Eagles to a 2-1 win over Minot and the North Dakota girls' state soccer championship. The Majetters were three-time defending champions.

Minot had not lost a game since 2019 and had a record of 69-0-1 in their last 70 games.

Julia Lewis scored a goal for the Majettes.
