CONCORD, NH — For the third day in a row, Concord Police investigators were at the scene of a former drug den at Airport Road and Russell Street, searching for clues possibly related to a missing person case.

On Saturday, police searched for evidence at 58 Airport Road, a former drug stash house. This is the third day police have been at the house. More than half a dozen officers were at the scene at around 1:45 p.m. Two officers, including a detective working on the Steve and Djeswende Reid murder case, were seen pouring buckets of soil through a sieve.

According to radio reports and witness statements, there was a flurry of activity at the scene around 4:15 p.m., although Patch cannot officially confirm the exact nature of the activity at the time of publication.

Shortly before 6 p.m. there were only a few officers left on site.

A vehicle belonging to the property's current owner, a Goffstown-based house flipper, was parked on the property. The flipper, MDR Rehab and Development LLC, purchased the property after it was foreclosed on in November 2023 for $180,000.

Most of the other officers had also cleared the crime scene, but emergency vehicles were still on site.

While details of the investigation are unknown, some began to speculate on Friday that the activities at the house could be related to the missing person case of Anthony Meunier.

Meunier was reported missing by his family on February 20, 2023. The Concord Regional Crimeline issued two alerts on his case – one in April 2023 and another in January 2024.

In the second alert, police released security surveillance video of a Bangor Savings Bank ATM on Loudon Road of Meunier withdrawing cash on Feb. 17, 2023. The bank is half a mile from the home on Airport Road. In the second alert, Deputy Police Chief John Thomas said Meunier was involved with accomplices who live on Airport Road.

The house at 58 Airport Road is the only known drug den in the area.

According to posts on Patch and court records, Meunier has prior convictions for drug possession, methamphetamine trafficking, illegal possession of weapons (gun and knife), and other charges. He is a felon due to a 2008 drug possession conviction in Connecticut.

The home's former owner, Todd Edward Spataro, a felon with a long criminal history, was charged in April with three felony counts of trespassing on the home. The crime date is February 3, 2023. The charges are for possession of fentanyl, cocaine and psilocyin. The crime occurred two weeks before Meunier was recorded on the ATM security camera. According to court records, Spataro waived his arraignment on the three counts in Merrimack County Superior Court on April 30.

Spataro was also arrested on January 15 for public nuisance, trafficking in prescription drugs, sale of controlled drugs and possession of controlled drugs following an incident/investigation on Airport Road.

Over the past year and a half, numerous other people have been arrested in this home.

Concord NH Patch will update this post when more information becomes available.
