What is EFT tapping?

DOVER – Learn the science, training and application of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) “Tapping”; a noninvasive self-help tool for stress management and more, on Monday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dover Public Library. This workshop is ideal for people who are new to “tapping” or who are familiar with the concept and want to enjoy some simple, guided processes with an instructor. NH Gives Kick-Off Event: Little Farmers Sneak Peak

DOVER — The “NH Gives Kick-off Event: Little Farmers Preview!” on June 11 at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is a family-friendly evening from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring a scavenger hunt, farm storytime, farm craft, special previews of new exhibit elements and the opportunity to meet and suggest names for a “pig” that will be home in the new farm exhibit. The suggested donation for admission to this special event is $25 per family. Donations can be made starting June 11 at 5 p.m. through the NH Gives website or at the door: nhgives.org/organizations/cmnh.

MINT program on electricity

BERWICK, Maine – Keep your children's minds busy during summer vacation with this fun STEM program about electricity. Children through fifth grade will have fun using play dough to learn about circuits, conductors and more. Join Mousam River STEM Academy for this fun program on Tuesday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Berwick Public Library.

DOVER – It's time to spill the tea! Commemoration of Flag Day

PORTSMOUTH – On Friday, June 14, the Strawbery Banke Museum, in partnership with Haven School alumni, will host a Flag Day commemoration event across from the Liberty Pole on the edge of Prescott Park. DOVER — For many people, a purring cat to pet and a good book to read is a source of happiness. On Saturday, June 15, we'll combine these two wonderful things when the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) partners with the Dover Public Library to host a Kitty Cafe from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public. Revolution: 1774 comes to Durham's historic district

DURHAM — The Durham Historic and Heritage Commission is co-sponsoring a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the second day of the attack and raid on British Forts William and Mary in New Castle, N.H., led by future Gen. John Sullivan. The celebration will be held June 15 on the banks of the Oyster River, at the site of Sullivan's monument in Durham. The day's activities begin at 11 a.m. and include a flag raising, parade, raffle, games and live music. In the evening, take part in a charity dinner cruise on a replica Gundalow in support of the Freedom Café in Durham. For more information, visit revolution-1774.org.

Strong Cities: Seacoast Meetup

DOVER – Saturday, June 15, 10:30 a.m. Meet at the Dover Public Library the third Saturday of every month to talk about issues affecting our region and develop strategies and messages for our local governments. This month's theme is “Understanding Zoning Policy.” We will discuss zoning policy, how it helps, and how it can be abused.
