Beat the heat wave with New Jersey's best ice cream

We're in the midst of the first official heat wave of the year, and I'm pretty sure summer “officially” starts tomorrow, but that's just the beginning of the “hot” season, so it's the perfect time to talk about cooling off with some delicious ice cream. Let's talk about the best ice cream here in New Jersey, and maybe something to help you cool off this summer.

I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to ice cream. I keep it simple and authentic. Vanilla is my go-to ingredient in ice cream. If you start with a good vanilla, you can add a little more flavor to make it palatable. Candy, sprinkles, etc. can be left out. Hot fudge sauce and some chopped nuts will do just fine 🙂
