Tornado warning issued for entire state

Tornado warning issued for all of New Hampshire

SO, GOOD AFTERNOON. THIS SUNDAY. I WANTED TO GIVE YOU AN UPDATE HERE AS WE ARE EXPECTING WEATHER WARNINGS WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME SEVERE STORMS. AND JUST RIGHT NOW, A MOMENT AGO, A TORNADO WARNING WAS OFFICIALLY ISSUED. NOW IT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED FOR THE ENTIRE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE AND A LARGE PART OF NEW ENGLAND AS WELL. THIS IS A TORNADO WARNING. THAT MEANS CONDITIONS ARE EXTREMELY FAVORABLE FOR THE FORMATION OF TORNADOES. SO YOU MAY WANT TO BE WEATHER AWARE TODAY. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WAY TO GET WARNINGS IF YOU'RE OUT AND ABOUT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THIS WARNING WILL RUN UNTIL 8:00 PM TONIGHT. SO OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS WE'RE EXPECTING STORMS, SOME OF WHICH COULD BE SEVERE. AND YES, SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE TORNADOES. SO THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW. A TORNADO WARNING MEANS TORNADOES COULD DEVELOP WITHIN THESE THUNDERSTORMS. HAVE A SAFE PLACE TO GO IN CASE A TORNADO WARNING IS ISSUED AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WAY TO RECEIVE THOSE WARNINGS WHEN AND IF THE TIME COMES. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TORNADO WARNING AND A TORNADO WARNING IS REALLY ONLY THE TORNADO WARNINGS. YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED AND A TORNADO WARNING MEANS A TORNADO IS IMMINENT OR ALREADY HAPPENING. Also, the Severe Threat Level is very high today. In fact, it's a three out of five in most of New Hampshire. That orange color you see shows where the greatest danger for severe storms to develop is today. Widespread coverage, high winds, lightning, hail, and the possibility of a tornado are possible with these severe storms. But that tornado threat is pretty rare in New England. The fact that we're at a 10% chance doesn't happen often here. So this is an extremely potentially dangerous situation. AND SET UP HERE WHY WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE PREPARED IF WE ISSUE A TORNADO WARNING. SO WEATHER ALERT FROM 2:00 PM TO 8:00 PM TONIGHT. AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE NEXT HOUR OR SO, ANY SUNSHINE THAT BREAKS OUT OF THE CLOUDS IS ONLY GOING TO INCREASE THE CHANCE OF THESE STORMS FORMING. OF COURSE IT'S POSSIBLE THAT STORMS AND HAIL WILL OCCUR, BUT THE BIGGEST DANGERS ARE THE HIGH WINDS. IN ADDITION TO THE LIKELIHOOD OF A TORNADO THROUGHOUT THE AREA TODAY. SO WE'LL KEEP AN EYE ON THAT. IF YOU'RE OUT AND ABOUT, YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE PAYING AN EYE ON THE WEATHER. WE'LL TAKE A LOOK AT THE SATELLITES AND THE RADAR SO YOU CAN SEE WHERE THINGS ARE CURRENTLY. WE'RE STILL LIFTING CLOUDS OVER MUCH OF NEW HAMPSHIRE. THERE WAS ALREADY A WESTERN WARNING FOR PART OF UPSTATE NEW YORK, JIRECTLY OVER THE VERMONT BORDER. AS I MOVE IN HERE, WE'LL STOP THIS HERE AND YOU CAN SEE THAT WITH THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING TO THE WEST, THERE'S THIS LITTLE “POSSIBLE TORNADO” MARKING. THAT MEANS THERE'S A ROTATION WITHIN THIS THUNDERSTORM RADAR INDICATED. SO THAT'S THE KIND OF CONSTELLATION WE'RE EXPECTING HERE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. AGAIN, NO WARNINGS HERE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE, BUT WE HAVE THAT TORNADO WARNING, TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO RISE. HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO RISE HERE AS WELL AS WE MOVE INTO THE AFTERNOON. WE WILL KEEP YOU UPDATE AS WE MOVE THROUGH THE NEXT FEW HOURS. JUST BE PREPARED AND B
