The Augusta Civic Center hosts a fantastic event for families and children from all over Maine.

It was recently announced that Dinosaur Adventure is coming to Maine! From Saturday, June 29th to Sunday, June 30th, you can experience the incredible prehistoric fun of this one-of-a-kind event.

One of my absolute favorite movies is Jurassic Park. Especially the scene where the actor is sitting on the toilet and the dinosaur comes and… well, you know how it ends.

The description on the event page is:

“Experience the thrill of prehistoric times with life-sized dinosaurs and huge family fun! Children of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities on the Dinosaur Adventure: fossil making, Jurassic scooters, themed obstacle courses, riding their favorite dinosaur and much more!”

I can't imagine how shocked and excited our children will be when they stare at a life-sized dinosaur. It's so important that the next generation learns what life was like thousands of years ago. This unique exhibition takes you back to the prehistoric times of the dinosaurs.

This eccentric event is sure to be an adventure! The crafts and activities offered will make for fun memories!

According to the post, children under two years old get in free. Tickets cost between $25.00 and $35.00.

The tickets include, “Dinosaur rides, bounce houses, Jurassic jeeps or ATVs, rolling dinosaur rides, painting station, fossil digs, live entertainment. Face painting, mining area and green screen photo sold separately at the event.”
