In May, Annabelle Widra finished her season in Tallahassee at the Tallahassee Regional. After entering the transfer portal, Widra is now a Florida State Seminole. The transfer from Michigan and Auburn has one year of eligibility left.

Last season, Widra started 38 games for Auburn. During her 49 total appearances, she was a true all-around player, playing third baseman, second baseman, shortstop, pitcher and designated player. Widra had a BA of .259 with 18 R, 33 H, 5 HR and 10 BB in her two years on the Plains. As a right-handed pitcher, she had a 2.77 ERA, 14-8 W/L, 121.1 IP, 121 H, 66 R, 20 BB, 113 SO and a B/AVG of .249 in two seasons.

Coming out of high school in Hoover, Alabama, Widra was named the 2021 Gatorade Alabama Player of the Year and has been nominated three times. She was ranked No. 8 among junior players and No. 6 among infielders in extra inning softball.

Widra will join Julia Apsel on the Seminole pitching staff as a transfer member.
