What happened to the Texas Rangers? Preview of this weekend's mega event + The Good, The Bad & The Uggla

In 2023, the Texas Rangers rode a wave of success, winning the club's first World Series title after defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks. This season, however, proved to be a bit more of a challenge.

Jordan Shusterman is joined by MLB.com Rangers sports reporter Kennedi Landry as they examine what went wrong for baseball's defending champions, the reasons behind Josh Smith's inclusion on the American League All-Star Game team and whether rookie Wyatt Langford has turned things around for the better after his early-season injury.

Also on this episode of Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jordan and Kennedi offer their picks for this week's “The Good, The Bad and The Uggla,” which include a bat boy saving Shohei Ohtani from a foul ball, a pretty unfortunate play by the Oakland Athletics, and the New York Yankees going through a really rough patch right now. Then they preview the weekend's games, which include a whopping six moops.
