Government authorities investigate possible measles outbreak after international traveller tests positive

The New Hampshire State Department of Health is investigating a possible outbreak of measles after an out-of-state traveler who visited Hanover this month tested positive. The DHHS said the traveler tested positive for measles after returning home. The DHHS said the traveler stopped at several locations in the Hanover area, including the campus of Dartmouth College, the Hanover Inn and on a bus ride from Hanover to Boston's Logan Airport. State officials said there are no confirmed cases of measles in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is investigating a possible measles exposure case after a foreign traveler who visited Hanover this month tested positive.

The DHHS said the international traveler tested positive for measles upon his return.

According to DHHS, the traveler made several stops in the Hanover area, including on the campus of Dartmouth College, at the Hanover Inn and on a bus from Hanover to Boston's Logan Airport.

State authorities said there were no confirmed cases of measles in New Hampshire.
