COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has crowned Miss River Bluff Teen Mary Elle Marchant as Miss South Carolina Teen 2024.

Marchant is from Lexington, South Carolina, is 18 years old and recently graduated from River Bluff High School. Marchant was the preliminary winner in the Teen Evening Dress and Teen Talent Award categories with a musical dance to “I Hope I Get It” from “A Chorus Line to Life.”

She received a savings bond worth $12,500 and will compete for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen.

The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has also named four additional delegates as runners-up for the 2024 Miss South Carolina Teen Pageant:

Runner-up: Miss Daniel Islands teenager Tess Ferm
Runner-up: Miss Columbia Teenager Le'Daviah Terry
Third Runner-up: Madison Harbin, Miss Greer High School teenager
Fourth Runner-up: Miss Greater Greer's Teen, Lilykate Barbare

The Miss South Carolina 2024 pageant will continue on Saturday evening at 8 p.m.

Miss South Carolina 2024 will receive a $60,000 scholarship and will compete for the title of Miss America.
