Severe storms return to Pittsburgh region; tornadoes possible

Tornado and flood warnings lifted for all of Western Pennsylvania

Severe weather warning day in Pittsburgh area on Saturday

IF NOT, OUR SEVERE THREAT IS OVER FOR TODAY. SO WE'RE WATCHING THESE RAIN SHOTS THAT YOU'RE SEEING WEST OF I 79 IN PARTS OF OHIO. THAT'S KIND OF OUR LAST CHANCE TO SEE SHOWERS AND STORMS STILL BEHAVIOR. LOOKS LIKE IT'S MOSTLY JUST RAIN. NOT REALLY THUNDER OR LIGHTNING ASSOCIATED WITH IT, THOSE ARE FURTHER SOUTH. LIKELY THOSE SOUTHERN STORMS WILL KILL THE AIR TRYING TO GET INTO THAT NORTHERN RAIN TRAIN SO THAT STORMS CAN FORM. SO IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S OK. AGAIN, WE WANT TO GIVE IT ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR TO MAKE SURE SOMETHING DOESN'T DEVELOP AGAIN. BUT WE'RE MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION NOW AND THAT'S WHAT WE WANT TO SEE WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT. SO FUTURECAST HAS COMMITTED TO THIS IDEA FOR MOST OF THE AFTERNOON THAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT DONE WATCHING FOR WIDESPREAD RAIN AND STORM ACTIVITY TODAY. WE'LL BE WATCHING FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SOME OUTDOOR, HIDDEN RAIN, ESPECIALLY AROUND SUNRISE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THAT WILL THEN DISAPPEAR HERE, BUT PROBABLY AROUND 9:10 AM. AND THEN TOMORROW WILL BE PRETTY DRY. AS THE AFTERNOON GOES ON, THE CLOUDS WILL DISAPPEAR. THE ONE THING YOU'LL PROBABLY NOTICE IS THAT OUR HIGHEST TEMPERATURE TOMORROW COULD VERY EASILY OCCUR AT 1 OR 2 PM, AND THEN THE TEMPERATURES WILL FALL. THE HUMIDITY WILL FALL THROUGH THE SECOND HALF OF YOUR SUNDAY AS WELL. THAT'S A SIGN THAT THE COLD FRONT HAS PASSED THROUGH. ONCE THAT HAPPENS, WE'RE DONE WITH THE CHANCE OF RAIN. HOW ABOUT THE ONE FOR MONDAY? WE START IN THE 10S ACROSS THE REGION AND TEMPERATURES WILL WARM UP WITH EFFORT TO GET BACK UP TO THE 25S. SO MONDAY IS FANTASTIC. THAT'S THE DAY YOU SHOULD TRY TO GET OUTSIDE, WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING. YOU MAY NEED TO DO A LITTLE GARDENING NOW AS IT'S PROBABLY BEEN BREAKING A LITTLE FOR THE LAST FEW. WE CONTINUE WITH NICE WEATHER ON TUESDAY AS WELL. ANOTHER PLEASANT START BUT A WARMER END AS HIGHEST TEMPERATURES ON TUESDAY COULD RISE TO OVER 27K AGAIN. WE STILL HAVE A TORNADO WARNING UNTIL 8 AM FOR ALLEGHENY, ARMSTRONG, INDIANA, WESTMORELAND, FAYETTE, AND GREENE AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES AND THEN MONONGALIA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA AS WELL. FLOOD WARNING THAT HAS BEEN CANCELED. Clouds outside for most of us now. Camera 84. It's still warm out there. And soupy too. Look at that, it feels like 90 degrees. It's very humid. Temps may only drop to the lower to mid 70s. We'll be in the low 80s very early tonight before our temps drop. So up to 82 degrees on Sunday. A pleasant chance of rain this morning, 7785 degrees on Monday on Tuesday, 90 degrees air temp on Wednesday. Then for your 4th of July. We're watching a chance of rain and storms right now. WE SHOULD DRY IN TIME FOR THE FIREWORKS. WE ARE WATCHING IT CLOSELY. THE RAIN WILL CONTINUE UNTIL FRIDAY AND
