Atlanta Braves News: Jarred Kelenic, walk-off win, Orlando Cepeda, more

The Braves won 2-1 in extra innings, and while Adam Duvall got to play the hero, the pitching staff has saved Atlanta all season. New additions to the rotation, Chris Sale and Reynaldo Lopez, have both been spectacular, while those left in the bullpen, Pierce Johnson and Joe Jimenez, have been reliable mainstays. The team's pitching staff was fourth in baseball in fWAR after the preseason Cy Young Award favorite was absent for most of the year. That includes some brutal starts from six starters and two misses from Max Fried early in the season. While the offense has struggled to produce consistently over the past two months, the pitching has held down the fort and kept the team afloat.
