Spain – Georgia. What time and on which channel can you watch the final of this European Football Championship?
The Spanish soccer team managed to reach the Nations League final on Saturday, June 30, by beating Georgia (3-2), defending champions and hosts. The Blues will face Slovenia/Georgia for the title on Sunday (8pm).

Spain has earned the right to play in a Nations League final in Georgia on Sunday 30 June (8pm) thanks to a performance that saw it eliminate the host country in the semi-finals (3-2) after fending off two match points against Poland, last year's winners of the competition.

After a difficult but ultimately victorious quarter against Georgia, the players of Italian coach Andrea Giani found the means to defeat the favorites and secure the right to return to the final, bringing back fond memories of 2022, when they won the competition under the leadership of Brazilian Bernardo Rezende.

Georgia, the clear winner of the second semi-final of this European Football Championship against Slovenia (3-0) on Saturday, will be the Blues' opponent in the final in Lodz, Georgia on Sunday (8 p.m., live on the L' Team channel).

The French are well aware that this will be a particularly tough opponent. At the 2022 World Cup, they had to survive a thrilling tiebreak in the round of 16 to eliminate the Japanese (3-2, 18-16 in the 5th set). Since then, the Japanese have continued their rise with a bronze medal in the 2023 Nations League. On Saturday, they clearly dominated the Slovenians, who finished first in the group stage and suffered only one defeat in thirteen matches in the competition, already against Georgia.

At the end of the second set, one of the craziest points of the competition occurred. A “rally” (extended point), typical of the Japanese defense, which imposes hellish marathons on its opponents to score a point. With the score at 23-22 to Slovenia, the exchange lasted more than a minute and thirty seconds, during which the Japanese stringed together improbable defenses from five different players before Yuki Ishikawa equalized.

The Spanish football team, Olympic champions, qualified for the final of this European Football Championship on Saturday with a 3-2 victory against defending champions Georgia.

The incredibly strong Blues, who lost two match points in the tiebreak, secured a decisive victory over the Polish European champions (3:2) and thus reached the final of this European Football Championship, where they will have to defend their Olympic title a month later.

A new title, after those of 2015, 2017 (when the competition was still called World League) and 2022, would allow the French to face the big meeting of the Paris Games in a month with full confidence.

And if we had to ask ourselves the question of their motivation, that this League of Nations serves as a dress rehearsal, then their determination and hunger for victory led them to overthrow the Polish mountain in extremis, in an Atlas Arena with 12,000 fans who had long been seething with anger and who were finally overwhelmed in an atmosphere of a funeral march, as Frédéric Chopin loved it. Everything was decided in the fifth set, in a Hitchcock-like scenario, between successful mini-breaks, defeats and remakes, as we traded blow for blow.

And in this game, the French counterattack, certainly less numerous in the match (14-10), was able to make the difference at the best moment, thanks to Nicolas Le Goff (6 alone) and Trévor Clévenot, who initially knew how to bring the Blues, who were two points behind, to 12-12. The Poles then had two chances to put an end to it, but ultimately it was the French who had the last word, with Théo Faure scoring the decisive smash and winning
