Last Saturday, a horrific car accident occurred in Texas that left a man dead.

It was Saturday morning when a semi-truck crashed into a home in Mission, Texas. It didn't take long for details of the accident and photos of the tragic incident to appear on social media.

The Mission Fire Fighters Association has released these photos so that other residents in the area can avoid the accident for now. As you can see, the accident investigation took many hours.

Details of the accident with the 18-wheeler

According to My San Antonio, the Mission Police Department's public information officer said no one was home when the semi-truck hit the house. And before the big truck collided with the house, it rammed two vehicles.

The deceased truck driver

The Mission Fire Fighters Association released a sad update on the accident. They updated their social media post to announce that the 51-year-old truck driver died as a result of the accident.

An autopsy was ordered for the driver of the semi-trailer.
