It will remain cool, windy and rainy until July 4th | Weather in Montana

Montana – Sunny skies will remain in some eastern regions tonight, with clouds moving in to the west. The entire state will remain dry tonight.

Highs today will be 21 degrees and the dry weather will begin to cool off this evening, with temperatures reaching the upper 18s by 9 p.m. We're forecasting great evening conditions for dining, exercising, or reading outside!

Overnight, northwest areas such as Kalispell and Whitefish will see showers. This precipitation is expected to move into the Bozeman, Missoula and Great Falls areas by late morning. Tomorrow, evening/afternoon showers are possible in eastern areas.

Rain chances remain across the state through July 4 as a low pressure system brings several isolated showers and thunderstorms.

Wind gusts of up to 30 mph will return to the eastern Plains tomorrow morning and are expected to ease by midday.

Lows tonight will drop to 10 to 12 degrees before reaching warm highs tomorrow. Highs are expected to be around 21 degrees in Missoula and Butte, 27 degrees in Helena and Bozeman, and 32 degrees in Billings.

Temperatures will remain stable at above 21 degrees throughout the week, with showers possible until Independence Day. Our 8-14 day forecast shows hotter and drier weather for the second week of July.
