These places are named after campsites

Do you want to get your kids out of the house and away from screens?

And what better way to achieve this than to release them into the wild?

The Grand Canyon State offers many beautiful places to plan your next camping trip, and two locations in Arizona were named the “2024 Best Campgrounds in the Mountain Region” by Dyrt.

The article states that “the mountain region is simply made for camping.” One campground in Arizona took the top spot on the list, while the other came in at number 7.

Curious about which places they are? Or want to plan your next adventure? Here are the “2024 Best Mountain Campgrounds” in Arizona.

Saddle Mountain – Kaibab National Forest

The East Rim View offers great panoramic views of the Saddle Mountain Wilderness, House Rock Valley and beyond.

Topping the list is Saddle Mountain in Kaibab National Forest.

According to The Dyrt, this spot is a great find because it's located on a remote back road near the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It's less visited than other parts of the canyon and is a free place to camp with “solitude and scenery.”
