Southern New Hampshire University welcomes new president

Southern New Hampshire University has welcomed its new president. SNHU announced Monday that former Provost Lisa Marsh Ryerson has assumed office as president following a unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees. Marsh Ryerson is the university's sixth president, succeeding Dr. Paul J. LeBlanc, who served as president for 21 years. “Lisa Marsh Ryerson is a talented and proven leader who embodies SNHU's mission to change lives, and we are thrilled to welcome her to her new role as SNHU president,” said Winnie Lerner, chair of the SNHU Board of Trustees. “SNHU is committed to enabling people to pursue life-changing opportunities that may not otherwise be available to them, and this important legacy will continue under Lisa's leadership. During her time on our Board and as Provost of the University, Lisa has brought fresh thinking and demonstrated her commitment to SNHU, its people, students and alumni. We know she will continue to be a wonderful leader for SNHU and a champion for higher education.” According to SNHU, Marsh Ryerson will serve as president for a two-year term.

Southern New Hampshire University has welcomed its new president.

SNHU announced Monday that former Provost Lisa Marsh Ryerson has taken office as president following a unanimous decision by the Board of Trustees.

Marsh Ryerson is the sixth president of the university, succeeding Dr. Paul J. LeBlanc, who served as president for 21 years.

“Lisa Marsh Ryerson is a talented and proven leader who embodies SNHU's mission to change lives, and we are excited to welcome her to her new role as SNHU's president,” said Winnie Lerner, chair of SNHU's Board of Trustees. “SNHU is committed to enabling people to take advantage of life-changing opportunities that may not otherwise be available to them, and this important legacy will continue under Lisa's leadership. During her time on our board and as university chancellor, Lisa has brought fresh ideas and demonstrated her commitment to SNHU, its people, students and alumni. We know she will continue to be a wonderful leader for SNHU and a champion for higher education.”

According to SNHU, Marsh Ryerson will serve as president for a two-year term.
