Becca Ayers, Ethan Paulini and others participate in “EVERYBODY'S TALKING ABOUT JAMIE” at the Weathervane Theatre

The full cast has been announced for the global regional premiere of Everybody's Talking About Jamie at the award-winning Weathervane Theatre in New Hampshire this summer. This winner of the Best Musical award (WhatsOnStage Awards in London) is based on an idea by Jonathan Butterell and features music by Dan Gillespie Sells (The Feeling) and book and lyrics by Tom MacRae (Dr. Who).

Joining the previously announced “Blair St. Clair” cast are Becca Ayers as Margaret, Ethan Paulini as Hugo/Loco Chanelle, Marisa Kirby as Ray, Reneé Elkady as Pritti Pasha, Jessie Booth as Miss Hedge with Jorge Donoso, Robert H. Fowler, Ira Kramer, Jeremy Lloyd, Devyn Xavier Akers, Dani Barrett, Bebe Moss, Lily Cameron, Eliana Karis, Ana Rodriguez and Payton Thomas.

The film is directed by Paulini and David Grindrod, with music direction by Andrew Morrissey, and the creative team includes Rien Schlecht for costumes and set design, Kimani Gordon for lighting design, Shawn Lovell-Boyle for projection design, Alexander Pikiben for sound design, and Billy Smith and Clare Vogt for props.

Straight from London, Everybody's Talking About Jamie is a fun, fabulous, moody musical sensation that celebrates acceptance, belonging and the power of unconditional love. Despite obstacles, 16-year-old Jamie bravely follows his unconventional dream in this inspiring true story that becomes a global musical phenomenon.

“I'm beyond excited to be playing my absolute dream role in my dream show,” St. Clair said. “This show feels like it was written about me and my story. As a queer person, I continue to advocate for gender equality in theater, and as a nonbinary actor, I constantly fight to be seen as the queer person I am inside – not just on the outside. … Jamie is a story about love and identity, and I want audiences to see more of that! I hope audiences can connect with the core of the story.

“Everybody's Talking About Jamie” will premiere on July 31 at the Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield, NH and will run in rotating repertory through August 29, 2024, as part of the Weathervane Theatre's 59th season. Season subscriptions and individual tickets are available at weathervanenh.org.

The Weathervane Box Office is open during the off-season. All inquiries are responded to within 72 hours. To reach the box office, call 603-837-9322 or email ([email protected]). The physical box office is closed until June.

BLAIR ST. CLAIR, from RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 and All Stars 5 (TOP FOUR), is a successful drag queen, singer and actress. Her film credits include Bittersweet with William Baldwin and Andrew Leeds, and a lead role in John Waters' upcoming musical remake of Bollywood & Vine: The Original B-Musical, alongside Jackie Hoffman and Lea DeLaria.

In 2018, St. Clair's debut album, Call My Life, reached number one on the Billboard Dance Charts and included the top ten dance hits “Now or Never” and “Call My Life.”

St. Clair is an established cabaret artist and his solo show “Legally Blair” debuted at Green Room 42 last year to critical acclaim.
