Texas officially admitted to SEC & Utah names its designated coach

On today's episode, SI's Dan Wetzel, Ross Dellenger and Pat Forde recap the University of Texas's festivities for its first official day in the SEC. Dellenger recounts his experience at the event in Austin and offers various anecdotes about what went down. Wetzel opens up important conversations about whether Texas is now the most hated team in the SEC and how much that will affect Texas A&M in the future.

They come on the recent news that Utah announced its designated coach, Morgan Scalley, to replace Kyle Wittingham. Forde explains the context of an investigation into Scalley's past actions, while Dellenger questions whether naming a prospective coach has even worked in the past.

Next, they uncovered a wild story from the 2024 NBA Draft involving the much older girlfriend of Duke star Kyle Filipowski, wondering why and how his love life had such a big impact on his draft value.

At the end of the show, Wetzel tells of a Nebraska official's revolutionary idea to raise money by burying fans in the stadium.
