Stoneacre Motor Group buys Trenton Motor Group

British car dealer Stoneacre Motor Group has successfully acquired Trenton Motor Group with sales of £70 million.

The group said the move strengthens Stoneacre's market presence and reaffirms its commitment to supporting local communities.

Although details of the sale have not been disclosed, it is believed to involve the addition of Nissan, Dodge, RAM, KGM and Citroen after-sales services to Stoneacre's Grimsby operation, as well as Nissan services in Hull. In addition, the acquisition will introduce a new and used van centre and a standalone used car site.

This acquisition represents another milestone in the growth of Stoneacre Motor Group, expanding its service portfolio and extending its reach to a larger customer base.

The company said it was keen to re-join Nissan as a franchise partner and looked forward to working with Nissan management and executives to invest in and enhance business opportunities in the Grimsby and Hull regions.
