Mercer County's $5 Friday Summer Concerts are back!

(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) – Central Jersey families don’t have to head to the coast to have a great time this summer. The Mercer County Park Commission’s $5 Friday Summer Concert Series promises unforgettable experiences for residents of all ages.

As the sun goes down, families can pull out blankets and chairs and enjoy a fun and relaxing evening on the spacious festival grounds of Mercer County Park in West Windsor.

$5 Fridays begins July 12 and runs through August 23. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. Parking at the concerts is free and children under 12 are admitted free.

A lineup of talented artists offers music from a variety of genres and decades, so everyone can find an act they like.

“Families in and around Mercer look forward to the Summer Concert Series every year,” said Mercer County Executive Dan Benson. “We wanted to keep these performances affordable so they are accessible to every family in Mercer County who wants to join in the fun.”

Two bands perform every evening:

* July 12 – Earth Wind & Fire Tribute and Coast to Coast

* July 19 – Yacht Rock Gold Experience and 80s Revolution

* July 26 – Best of the Eagles and Bell Bottom Blues – Clapton Tribute

* August 2nd – Queen Flash and Frontiers–Journey Tribute

* 9 August – Funk Salsa Urban and Swing Sabroso

* August 16 – American soul band and discotheque

* August 23 – Yellow Brick Road – A Tribute to Elton John and All About Joel – Billy Joel Tribute

The best of world music returns to the Pettoranello Gardens Amphitheater in Princeton


(PRINCETON, NJ) – Blue Curtain, a summer tradition in Princeton, returns to the Pettoranello Gardens Amphitheater with two free concerts in July – Dobet Gnahoré on July 13 and Nanny & Dani Asiss on July 20. The venue is located at Route 206 and Mountain Avenue. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the shows will be moved to the Princeton High School Performing Arts Center at Franklin Avenue and Walnut Lane.
