Falmouth police search for man last seen in April – NBC Boston

Police in Falmouth, Massachusetts, are asking the public for help in locating a man who has been missing since late April.

Falmouth police said in a Facebook post Wednesday that 53-year-old Michael Bolina, also known as Michael Boling, was reported missing in late May.

Bolina, who has ties to Falmouth and North Carolina, is described as a 6-foot-tall, 135-pound white man with blue eyes and brown hair. Police released a photo of him.

“The unsuccessful efforts to locate Mr. Bolina were based on information provided to investigators,” police wrote in the Facebook post.

Anyone with information is asked to call Falmouth Police at 774-255-4527.

On Monday morning, Falmouth police said in another Facebook post that they were searching for a missing person in the Old Barnstable Road area. In the afternoon, police updated the post, removing any references to a missing person search and confirming a heavy police presence in the area.

“There is no danger to the public,” the edited post said. “We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.”

NBC10 Boston reached out to Falmouth police to ask if Monday's search was related to Bolina, but has not yet received a response.
