Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Kev Herrera

originally published: 07/03/2024

(RED BANK, NJ) – Count Basie Center for the Arts presents comedian Kevin Herrera on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Kevin Herrera was born and raised in New York. He is known for his comedic wit. Kevin was always the “clown” not only among his friends but also in his large Hispanic family.

Kevin's unfiltered, raw comedy is inspired by his successful life experiences. Life experiences that would probably be breaking for most people, Kevin was able to use his humor and let it flourish. He has always had a love for comedy, as it has been his comfort and plays a crucial role in the person he is today.

Kevin, with his natural comedic talent and animated personality, soon took a more creative approach, expanding his comedy and producing sketches that regular married couples and parents on social media could relate to. Only Raising Kings continues to grow and exceed anything he could have ever imagined. Kevin is also the creator of The Lunchroom, a podcast that offers uncensored perspectives on the mindsets of regular people in real-life situations.

Now a social media influencer, Kevin wanted more. He knew he was ready to share not only his humor, but also his life story.

Tickets cost between $25 and $40 and are available for purchase online. The Count Basie Center for the Arts is located at 99 Monmouth Street in Red Bank, New Jersey.
