Former New Hampshire congresswoman celebrates her 99th birthday

Ruth Griffin has served her community for decades and now the community is celebrating her. On Tuesday, July 9, Griffin will celebrate her 99th birthday and her children wanted to mark the milestone with friends, family and some of the city's leaders. The former state representative has an extensive resume, serving as a state representative, state senator and government advisor. In her 40+ year career, she has also served two terms on the Republican National Committee, a member of the selection committee for the 2000 Republican National Convention and a delegate to the RNC since 1972. Her upcoming birthday was celebrated in Portsmouth, with Mayor Deaglan McEachern and other city leaders in attendance.

Ruth Griffin has served her community for decades and now she is being celebrated by the community.

Tuesday, July 9, is Griffin's 99th birthday and her children wanted to celebrate this milestone with friends, family and some heads of state.

The former state representative has an extensive resume and has served as a state representative, state senator and government advisor.

In her more than 40-year career, she also served two terms on the Republican National Committee, was a member of the selection committee for the 2000 Republican National Convention, and was a delegate to the RNC from 1972.

Her upcoming birthday was celebrated in Portsmouth in the presence of Mayor Deaglan McEachern and other city leaders.
