Which ski pass is worth the money in Montana?

The only question is whether it is worth the money.

We may still be in the middle of summer, but many people are already looking forward to unpacking their skis or snowboards and skiing through the powder snow in a few months.

Montana has more than twenty incredible ski areas and resorts that attract locals and tourists during the snow season.

Most Montanans stay in the surrounding mountains, but some larger resorts offer more slopes, lifts, and amenities. The only downside to these resorts is that a day pass can be quite expensive.

If you go to the mountains often, you will usually buy a season pass for your favorite area. The passes cost more, but are worth the price if you ski or snowboard regularly.

What if you want to travel around and try out several ski resorts but don't want to pay a lot? Maybe there is an option for you.

Two popular ski passes provide access to several top-class ski areas or resorts.

What is the difference between the two?

The IKON Pass gives you access to some of the most famous ski resorts in the world, such as Big Sky Resort in Montana. There are several options, including a four-day pass that gives you access to all the resorts you want to visit this winter.

The Indy Pass focuses more on independent mountains and cross-country skiing facilities. This pass includes more ski resorts in Montana, including Blacktail, Red Lodge, and more.
