July 1st, New York City’s “How Many Stops Act” went into effect. But, the controversial law requires New York Police officers to document the race, gender and age of every person they interact with.

Former Police Commissioner and current Talk Show Host, Ed Norris, joined FOX45 Morning News to share his thoughts on what is going on in New York and the reasons behind why this program could easily spread across every major city.

“This is such theatre for the public,” said Norris. “There’s a war on the police in this country. It’s that simple. It’s another bunch of theatre to make it seem like people are policing the police better. People have to start being honest about this or we’re never going to get any better.”
