Fourth of July flyover departs from Hill Air Force Base

SALT LAKE CITY — A troop of On Thursday, F-35 aircraft will participate in Hill Air Force Base's July 4 Independence Day flyover over the Beehive State.

According to the base's website, the 419th Fighter Wing will fly over 17 cities to participate in the Independence Day celebrations, departing Millcreek at 8:54 a.m. and returning over West Jordan at 10:50 a.m.

Here are the expected times the jets will fly overhead during the Fourth of July flyover:

  • Millcreek – 8:54 a.m.
  • Murray – 8:55 a.m.
  • Kaysville – 8:58 a.m.
  • West Point – 8:59 a.m.
  • Morgan – 9:02 am
  • Henefer – 9:03 am
  • Huntsville – 9:06 a.m.
  • Lewiston – 9:12 a.m.
  • Riverdale – 9:19 a.m.
  • Clearfield – 9:19 a.m.
  • Salt Lake City – 9:22 a.m.
  • Leeds – 9:53 am
  • Fillmore – 10:05 am
  • Vernal – 10:32 am
  • Park City – 10:45 a.m.
  • Riverton – 10:48 a.m.
  • West Jordan – 10:50 a.m.

Hill Air Force Base said these times are subject to change due to weather conditions and other operational requirements.
