MACON, Ga. (41NBC/WMGT) — The Fourth of July is just around the corner and people in Middle Georgia are preparing for the upcoming celebrations.

41NBC has a list of local 4th of July events in Middle Georgia.

  • Mâcon (city): Sparks Over the Park at Lake Tobesofkee on July 4. Live music with The Rescue Dogs will be from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Sandy Beach Park, and fireworks will begin at 9:15 p.m. Macon Bacon There will also be fireworks.
  • Centerville: Independence Day celebration on June 28. The celebration starts at 6 p.m. and the drone show begins at nightfall.
  • Warner Robins: Independence Day celebration on June 29. The celebration starts at 6pm and the fireworks start at 10pm
  • Cochran-Bleckley: Independence Day celebration on July 4th. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9 p.m.
  • Wrightsville: 4th of July celebration on July 5th. The celebration starts at 7:00 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:15 p.m.
  • Perry: Independence Day celebration on July 4th. The celebration begins at 7pm and the fireworks start at 9pm
  • Forsyth: Fireworks over Forsyth on July 6. The celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. and the fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
  • Milledgeville: Annual fireworks display on June 29th. The fireworks display begins after dark.
  • Dublin: Independence celebration on July 6. The fireworks start at 9 p.m.
  • Reynolds: Speed ​​​​and Sparks on July 6. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
