LOS ANGELES (AP) — Arizona Diamondbacks slugger Christian Walker continued his winning streak at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, hitting his 18th and 19th home runs in 42 career games at the ballpark in his first two at-bats.

He has hit a home run in five consecutive games at the third-oldest baseball stadium in the Major Leagues, tying the longest single-season streak at the stadium with teammate Joc Pederson, who did so with Los Angeles in 2015.

Pederson and Walker hit back-to-back home runs with two outs in the first inning against rookie Landon Knack, with Walker's hit going 435 feet to center. After Pederson was walked with two outs in the third inning, Walker followed with a two-run homer to left off Knack's 1-2 pitch to make it 4-0.

Walker hit five home runs in the three-game series, his ninth of the season against the Dodgers and his 22nd overall.

On Wednesday night, Walker hit two home runs and missed the cycle by a triple in a 12-4 win.

“It's a good place to hit, you can see the ball well,” Walker said Wednesday. “A big part of it is the lineup and the protection around me in the lineup, that gives me the freedom to take some big swings and try to change the outcome. It helps to have a lot of guys on the field.”
