Okay, we think everyone has an opinion on one particular theme park souvenir: the bubble wand.

Kids love bubble wands – they can’t get enough of them. Many parents think they are overrated and overpriced. We could even say they are a waste of money at theme parks, but Universal Orlando may have convinced us otherwise. That’s because Universal has fundamentally improved the simple bubble wand.

We recently visited Universal Orlando Resort to see the new daytime parade, the Universal Mega Movie Parade. While we were there, we discovered something new in the shops: bubble wands inspired by Trolls, MinionsAnd Jurassic world. Okay, so that looks like a lot of fun, right?

But these aren't just regular bubble wands. Of course they blow bubbles (as you'd expect), but they're also interactive. They interact with each other and with some of the floats in the new parade.

A team member at one of the Universal stores explained to us how the new interactive bubble wands work. We got a demonstration of how they interact with each other, PLUS an explanation of how the bubble wands react to the floats in the parade. So fun!

Could this be THE Universal souvenir to grab this summer? Well, it very well could be. Consider it a little token of entertainment for why everyone is waiting for Epic Universe to open in 2025.
