Coroner identifies driver killed in Anderson County crash

A driver was killed in a car crash in Anderson County, South Carolina, Friday morning, according to the Anderson County Coroner's Office. The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Youth Center Road near Highway 20, the coroner said. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a 2015 Chevy SUV traveling north on Youth Center Road veered far left off the road and struck a tree. The coroner has identified the driver as 19-year-old Alex Joseph Lee of Belton.

According to the Anderson County Coroner's Office, a motorist was killed in a one-car crash Friday morning.

The accident occurred around 6 a.m. on Youth Center Road near Highway 20, the coroner said.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a 2015 Chevy SUV left the roadway on Youth Center Road northbound and struck a tree.

The coroner identified the driver as 19-year-old Alex Joseph Lee of Belton.
