But when Fredrik (who now lives in Miami) needs to get away from it all, he can retreat to his quiet Connecticut home. Life can get tough when juggling high-profile real estate deals and raising his twins, Milla and Freddy, with husband Derek Kaplan, so we can't blame him for needing an escape. When Fredrik's family ever needs to get away, they have their home in the Connecticut countryside, which features the lushest green grass, stunning marble countertops, and even a room that reminds him of his childhood.

The real estate agent shared photos of the inside of his home, which is just as homely as the outside. Fredrik gave his followers a look into his kitchen, his living room with a stunning fireplace, his super-cozy bedroom and his sauna room – with a view outside.

“The view from the glass sauna I built is inspired by my childhood in Sweden…” Fredrik wrote above the photo of the view. “The zen place in my world is to sit here, sweat and meditate.”

Taking to his Instagram Story earlier this week, Fredrik shared some new views of the home's exterior, including a shot of the pale-brick, colonial-style mansion. In the photos, Milla can be seen standing outside on the lawn, staring into the pond on the property, while Fredrik snapped a shot of their stunning hedges surrounded by overflowing planters.

“Home is where the heart is,” he wrote about the outdoor shot and also praised the “new gardener Adam” in the photo of the hedges.

Meditating could be very helpful as things have just gotten a little chaotic for Fredrik and Derek. In an Instagram post shared on Father's Day, Fredrik updated his followers on everything that's been happening in his children's lives as they head into first grade next school year in Florida.

“I'm so proud of them, in case you haven't noticed… Freddy is going to chess camp soon and Milla loves to paint and draw and spends hours in the studio with Big D,” he wrote in the post's caption. “She is really talented with color, very Monet. They have so many new friends in Miami and I can't keep up with their social life and all the play dates.”
