ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The North Carolina Zoo needs your help.

The zoo was named a nominee for Best Zoo in Newsweek’s Readers’ Choice Awards contest, but they need the most votes to win.

NC Zoo is up against heavy-hitting parks like the Bronx Zoo in New York City and the San Diego Zoo.

That’s where you come in.

Voting is now open and ends on July 31 at 11:59 p.m.
