Melissa Gorga Agrees 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Needs 'Changes' During 'Toxic' Season 14 (Exclusive)

Melissa Gorga knows that things cannot stay as they are The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

ET spoke with the longtime reality star on Monday at the New York premiere of Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the blackand she said Rumors of restructuring in the midst of a tense season with fellow actors Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania, Margaret Joseph, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral And Rachel Fuda.

“I agree with Bravo that there needs to be changes… I agree with that 100 percent,” Melissa told ET. “I think things have become really toxic. Two of my cast members have done really dirty things behind the scenes and it's coming out now. It's all coming out because it always comes to the surface, it always comes out in the laundry room. It's been years, so it's all coming out.”

Should the cast be recast next season, Melissa – who had no direct contact with her sister-in-law Teresa in season 14, in the midst of its dramatic consequences – said she was prepared for anything.

“Whatever Bravo decides is fine with me,” she said compared to ET in May. “I don't make demands. I come to work. I have a very strong relationship with the show. So I feel like no matter who they cast – or don't cast – I'm fine, I'm in my own space with my own family and my own kids, and I'll deal with it if I have to deal with it.”

Last month it was announced that at the end of the 14th season of RHONJ. Andy Cohen unveiled on SiriusXM's Reality check with Kiki Monique that the producers made this shocking decision after watching the season finale, which he described as closure and reunion in one.

“I think the main thing is that it all makes sense when you see the finale. It's one of those classics jersey Finale that people will be talking about for a long time,” he said. “When all of us producers saw the final cut of the finale, we all made a decision individually and then we talked.”

“It is in the great tradition of absolutely shocking, dramatic jersey Finale and they have this final epic group encounter that feels like the Last Supper and just jerseyadded Andy. “And it's shocking and dramatic and it's fantastic television. I'm telling you, when you see it, you'll feel complete, I think. I really do.”

The See what's happening live The presenter further promised that “instead of a reunion, Bravo is cooking up something and that will be announced soon.”

Melissa hinted as much, telling ET on Monday, “We're going to do something at the end. You're going to see something that kind of ties everything together. It won't be a proper reunion, but I'm sure there will be something.”

For now, Melissa and her husband Joe Gorga are focused on spending time together, which is exactly what they did at the premiere, where Joe proudly took photos of his wife, whom he tied the knot with in 2004.

“She's incredible,” Joe gushed. “Look how beautiful she is. I like to capture these moments.”

“We like to make memories. We make memories, keep them,” Melissa added. “One day we'll be sitting in our rocking chairs when we're 80 and we'll say, 'Remember when I looked good and we went to the premiere of the Tyler Perry movie?' We want to remember those things.”

Divorce in the black will be available on Prime Video on July 11th. The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sundays on Bravo.
