TRENTON (WABC) — New Jersey's second-largest lottery prize of the year has been claimed following last month's Powerball drawing, but a ticket worth a staggering $1.13 billion drawn during March's Mega Millions has still not been claimed.

The winning ticket was sold at Shoprite Liquors in Neptune on March 26. Several other New Jersey residents won smaller prizes, but the grand prize winner has not yet come forward.

The winning numbers for this draw were 07, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Gold Mega Ball was number 04 and the multiplier number was 02.

The New Jersey Lottery recommends that the winner sign the ticket, make copies of it, contact professional legal and financial advisors, and call 1-800-222-0996 to make the claim.

If a Mega Millions jackpot prize is not claimed within the prescribed time period (which varies from state to state), each participating state will receive back all the money it contributed to the unclaimed jackpot. According to the Mega Millions website, each state uses its unclaimed lottery winnings for different purposes.

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot had grown to $221 million in June before the winner was announced.

The winning ticket was sold on June 10 at the Preet Food Mart in Lindenwold, Camden County.

The winner of this drawing has not been announced. New Jersey lottery rules allow winners to remain anonymous.

New Jersey lottery officials said when they went to claim the jackpot, the winners still didn't understand what to do with it. They heard the jackpot being talked about on the radio and something told them to check their ticket. They got the surprise of their lives. Their Quick Pick ticket was a winner.

They immediately called a close friend to tell him the news, and the friend couldn't believe it.

This person was the only winner in the entire state and opted for the cash prize, which paid out $104.7 million.

The winning numbers in this drawing were 03, 10, 33, 58, 59 and the red Powerball was 09.

Powerball drawings are streamed on abc7ny.com/lottery on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. Mega Millions drawings are streamed on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m.
