MIAMI – The Copa América final is between Argentina and Colombia at 8 p.m., on Sunday, at the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami Gardens.

Miami-Dade County officials expect over 60,000 fans will be at the stadium and local fans will flood restaurants, bars, and watch parties across South Florida.

Here are some facts about Colombia’s team:

  • Colombia hasn’t lost a match since February 2022

  • Colombia gets to the final undefeated for 28 games

  • Since the Copa América started in 1916, Colombia won first place once in 2001 and second place in 1975.

  • The team’s star is James Rodríguez, a midfielder who plays for São Paulo FC and has a fierce left-foot strike. His father was a Colombian national team player. He was born on July 12, 1991, in Cúcuta.

  • Daniel Muñoz won’t be playing. A referee handed him a red card after he swung his elbow at Uruguay’s Manuel Ugarte, who he claimed had pinched him.
