Leon County Election Commissioner Sends Out Mail-In Ballots for 2024 Primary Election

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Leon County Elections Supervisor Mark Earley on Thursday announced the mailing of mail-in ballots for the 2024 primary election, according to his press release.

Supervisor Earley said the elections office will mail more than 33,000 mail-in ballots to Leon County voters over the next week.

“We have also already mailed over 700 ballots to military personnel and voters overseas to give them more time to receive and return their ballots,” Earley said.

Voters who have already requested a mail-in ballot can expect to receive one next week, according to Earley. Ballots are expected to be mailed in newly designed envelopes that include “the latest U.S. Postal Service recommendations for mail-in ballots, recent changes in Florida law, and free return postage,” the release said.

If a voter has not yet requested a mail-in ballot, there is still time to do so, according to Earley.
